- Plastic paddle wheel flow meters: These flow meters use the same principle as metal paddle wheel flow meters, which is the mechanical displacement of a paddle wheel. But the paddle wheel is made of plastic instead of metal. The paddle wheel rotates as the liquid or gas flows through the pipe or duct, and the rotation is directly proportional to the flow rate. These flow meters are suitable for measuring the flow of clean liquids, slurries, and gases with low viscosity and low density. They can be used in a wide range of industrial applications, such as water treatment, chemical processing, and food and beverage production. However, they are not suitable for measuring the flow of highly viscous liquids or liquids with high solids content.
- Plastic Turbine flow meters: These flow meters use the turbine principle, which is based on the rotation of a turbine wheel that is placed inside the pipe or duct. The turbine wheel rotates as the liquid or gas flows through the pipe or duct, and the rotation is directly proportional to the flow rate. These flow meters are suitable for measuring the flow of clean liquids, slurries, and gases with low viscosity and low density. They are commonly used in water treatment, chemical processing, and food and beverage production.
- Plastic Ultrasonic flow meters: These flow meters use ultrasonic technology to measure the flow rate of liquids. The flow meter consists of two sensors that are placed on opposite sides of the pipe or duct. The sensors emit ultrasonic sound waves that travel through the liquid, and the time it takes for the sound waves to travel from one sensor to the other is used to calculate the flow rate. These flow meters are suitable for measuring the flow of liquids with low viscosity, and they can be used in a wide range of industrial applications, such as water treatment, chemical processing, and food and beverage production.
